I remember a Secondary school trip to Tasmania, one of the "sites" was to wander into an abandoned Asbestos mine. Doubt its on the itinerary any longer...

We used to go to Wittenoon heaps as a kid when we lived in Tom Price. Awsome place from the scenery but yes the asbestos is everywhere and on everything.
