Engine Mounts CRD Failure

Hi All.

I am chasing down an odd sensation I get while driving.

It is noticeable when coming on or off the throttle, almost like torque twist, giving a subtle rocking (left and right) sensation even when on flat roads.

In the last 12 months I have replaced all of the front and rear suspension bushes, and last week the front diff bushes.

This rocking feeling is becoming more pronounced, and I had hoped the front diff bushes would have corrected it.

This now leads me to considering the engine mounts are almost gone, or have gone, allowing movement of the engine.

But I have found very little information or history showing the engine mounts failing is a common thing.

They area available on ebay however so there must be a demand for them.

Thoughts and comments?

Thanks
Ben

Hey Ben,

Get your mate to give the engine a boot full while you're watching it
On and off the throttle not sustained revs
If a mount is broken you'll see the engine jumping around
It's fairly obvious
