Black Diamond Plate Aus

Hey guys, I have looked around, but no luck yet. Does anyone know where/if any aus stockists have Black Diamond Plate? If i can't find it i will powder coat some standard diamond plate, but ill address the masses first...

also, where do you buy standard diamond plate here?

Translation: I think you call Diamond Plate 'Checker plate' here possibly, in-case I'm speaking another language to ya ;)

Most decent hardware stores or local steel supplies will carry checker plate, not sure about it in black though

You after alloy, rubber or steel?

alloy or steel.

Steel should be easy, you will need to paint it though as it will be supplied "black" but that will turn a nice shade of brown pretty quickly.....

A steel merchant should have no dramas supplying it...

Plenty of caravan mobs using it so it must be available localy, maybee check with some of them and see where the get it. I don't know if it's powder coated, painted or anodized but if on a caravan it would be alloy.

Last time I bought this stuff From Capral, it had 2 different names,"Propellor Plate" and "5 bar tread plate".
Best to cut it and finish it, even fit it, remove it, then powder coat.
Various thicknesses, depending on your application, best to find the closest one and take a look. They usually have an off-cut bin, always good for a start .
Try this link.
