JT 2" Lift

Okay, have just been doing my research into engineering my Gladiator for 35" tyres.

I can't justify the $9k+ cost for effectively only 12mm diff clearance.

Bear with me. I don't want a 4" lift and 40" tyres I just wanted enough lift (say 2") and 35"s. but engineering for 35's alone was $4k to do the breaking and swerve test with no guarantee it would pass.

If I fit 40 to 50mm lift and go 2" taller with tyres (effectively 1" gain in diff clearance) I will be at 75mm or less total increase which sits under the certification requirements here in NSW.

So this is what I am thinking.

2" lift, either
Tough dog (adjustable shocks)
Dobinson (adjustable shocks)
or import the Mopar 2" lift with Bilstein remote res shocks 77072468AF :? approx $4k

Tyres
295/70 R18 (6.9% larger then the factory 32")
Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's if I can stomach the cost.
