Mine just ticked over the 310K and seems strong as it was when I've got it at 180K . Beside the small oil drips here and there...I'm happy with it .

I love these posts; I bought my new TJ in 2001 and is just a baby at 160k!

I'm looking forward to the next 160 and beyond, but when...

"BMW and Volvo say they will electrify their entire range.
Volkswagen will also introduce 20 all-electric cars by 2020.
Norway and Holland have declared intentions to ban emissions producing vehicles by 2025.
Germany’s Bundesrat passed a resolution to ban the internal combustion engine starting in 2030 and
India’s Road Minister also announced an ambition for the country to become a “100 percent electric nation” by 2030."...

...the way things are going, internal combustion engines could be banned before my ole 4.0L needs a rebuild :p

When my newer one gets to 333,333 km I may take a pic.

atm, in Oz, over 30yrs qualifies for Conditional "Vintage" rego.

That puts you in the same class as old Jaguars, Rolls-Royce, Model T etc etc
so likely a small percentage of survivors will still be allowed on the road
