Strong levelling ramps for rough terrain?

G'day folks.

I'm in the market for some new ramps for my swan outback. We like to camp in remote and rugged places where good level ground can be hard to find, and the trailer weighs over 2T fully loaded.

I've had a pair of these cheapie yellow ones for the last few years, but now they're both broken beyond usability. The biggest problems with them were that they just weren't strong enough - if the ground isn't perfectly level they deform and break, and they're open at the bottom, so if the ground is soft at all they just sink in.

I know these ones are popular with heavier vans, but not sure if they'd suffer the same issues as the ones I had (haven't seen them in person so not sure if the bottom is also open, but I suspect it is):

Just spotted these ones that look like they might be worth a shot. They're a solid bottom and I'm under the impression that Milenco stuff is decent quality, at that sale price they're definitely a contender:

The other option is to just build some myself out of treated timber. I know they'd be strong enough, but they'd also be big and heavy, which is not ideal, but realistically I only need to carry one as it's a single axle trailer. The upside of this approach is that I could build them with stackable/removable levels to suit site conditions.

Anyone got any suggestions or thoughts? Anyone with a similar setup and needs and have found a pair they swear by? I'm also considering just using my 4 maxtrax, but sooner or later I know I'm going to want them with me while the camper is set up and then I'm going to swear.

Thanks for any input/suggestions!

Have you seen these? looks kike the solid base would work well in sand etc.

They do look good and sturdy, but not sure if they'd have the height I'm after. Ended up buying the Milencos, the sale price won me over.
