VM Motori 2.5 Diesel question

Hi folks,

I am performing a motor swap and was chasing the dimensions of the original VM 2.5L diesel engine rear. Specifically, I need to know the measurement from the block to the crank flange that the original dual mass flywheel bolts to.

I believe the 2.8L is the same block with a larger bore, so if anyone has one of these blocks out of a car and is willing to take some photos and measurements for me it would make my job a lot easier.

Thanks

Be carefull what you ask!
There are 2 different 2.5's.
The export XJ came with a 2.5 diesel.
Completely different to the 2.5 in the early KJ.
You maybe better asking over on lostjeep.
I believe For the 2.5 and 2.8 used in the KJ, the difference is the bore. I have heard that there are also some minor differences in the head.
Cranks and RMS are the same in the 2.5 & 2.8 in the KJ.
