Aw4 valve body mods
 

Has anyone sourced or know of the needed mods on the valve body to allow it to let the torque converter lock up in first gear .?

Got a full winters shifter setup and have electronic manualised the aw4 in my 01 xj petrol and found that the torque converter can only be locked in 2nd to 4th , the box mechanically won’t let it be locked in first gear .

Transmission bloke recons there is modified valve body’s around but doesn’t know of specifics , apparently the a340 valve body is very similar but once again I’m just going off rumors from google searches ,

Have looked in a few places and even wholesale automatics don’t offer their ‘nomad’ valve body for the Jeep boxes sadly

Any help would be great
