windscreen washing system after snorkel
 

hi all

what is your system for the windscreen washing after you add a snorkel ?
on xj australia version

because for put the snorkel , we need to remove the washing system and after where you put it ??


if you have any picture or other , show me ;)

Easy, use a decent snorkel and no mods are required...

I modified the original washer bottle to fit in the driver side. Required swapping the filler neck to the other side of the bottle and a host of other minor modifications to get it to fit.

I then un-picked the wiring loom back so then I could use the factory loom to plug it all back up on the opposite side. The wiring changes took the longest. Its not for the faint hearted but the finish is factory in appearance.

Hellcat sounds like a lot of work Moving wiring something a miss ? and you had to cut a hole in the mudguard
JungleJuice can you show me another close-up of how yours fits into the airbox Did you have to mod it? or aftermarket? been thinking about one myself

What do you call a decent snorkel?
Are some "cheapies" too long?

My airbox was stock before I cut a big hole in the back and sealed off the front....

Mine is the Airflow snorkel, the cheapies on ebay use the Safari method of running a long, smaller diameter hose through the guard where the washer bottle resides, does a couple of tight turns and pops up in front of the airbox for another tight turn....
