2011 WK GC 3litre layup with disconnected battery

Can you disconnect the battery on GC Overland without problems ,going away for 3 months .(cannot use a charger) Have done this on my WH with no problems.Just worried about the extra electronics etc in the WK Overland. not firing up.!!

I am not sure the answer to this, but I have gone away for a little over a month without a battery disconnect and it fired up fine.

Just ensure you Lock the car when you leave it, as that tells whatever gadgets to not remain alive, eg hvac - the bit when you sit in your car with the engine off, and 5-10mins later you hear some movement sounds of the climate control vents

It'll be fine to disconnect. Might even make your trans shift better if it's taken on a bad learning pattern.

Cheers, Steve
