Crawler gear

I'm thinking of buying a used petrol limited KL. As I do a bit of beach fishing, I wonder if anyone has advice regarding their ability to drive on soft sand. Does the 9 speed auto include a crawler gear?

Can't afford either the trailhawk or the diesel variants.

Bought a Wrangler Overland instead.

Was gonna say, they have a sand function but no low range. I doubt I would take my wifes limited on the sand. Trailhawk should be capable enough for the sand, but you can't go wrong with the Wrangler

I’d agree - the Trailhawk is great on sand because of low range. High range in soft sand is hard work and I’d just be waiting for something to overheat. The front bumper/spoiler on the Limited is also quite low and shaped a bit like a shovel, which is going to work against you also.
