Clear Check engine after Solenoid Pack replace

Hey all, have just replaced the solenoid Pack in the transmission after the jeep (jgc 5.7l) got stuck in 4th. apparently common-ish after 100k. Job went perfect, runs great again. The check engine light is still on though. Is there a way to clear this? It only came on once this issue arose so guessing this is what it is still on for.

Of course there is the rare chance something else occurred while it sat still for a few weeks.... Let me know, cheers.

You should buy a scangauge, ultragauge, or obd reader with torque app or similar. Then you can read CEL and reset.

Cheap chinese obd readers are ok but in my experience don;t last that long.

Yeah, that's what I was sort of planning to do. Just in the mean time until I order it. Was hoping there was a trick to it. All good though. Any particular one that you recommend?

I have a BlueDriver probably the best on the market for the price.

And just to close out the thread - Light cleared after a couple of drivers. Runs like a dream.

Nice tip, I'm going to try that one out for sure.
