Unknown grey-ended connector near EGR valve http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d8a2de7e52.jpg
I purchased a WG CRD as my first car last year. I have discovered that the previous owner performed an EGR delete on my Jeep and incorrectly wired the Red and Green wires directly to the MAF sensor. (the previous owner also removed MIL light). An unknown grey connector is also attached to the lower end of the green and red wire. |
That looks like the plug off the EGR vacuum solenoid. Is it still there? It's identical to the solenoid on the turbo vane control and mounts under the throttle bell crank on the firewall.

Location of connector? Can you reply back to me with pics of where the connector plugs into? I'm having a hard time finding where the throttle bell crank is located.

Thanks for the reply back to me with pics :)
