On a lazy mid December Sunday the boys and I headed an hour into the suburbs to a future housing estate in Jakarta's environs , boring scenery but some challenging obstacles !

Simexs are good but not THAT good !

Interestingly I was the first in Indonesia to run 32x9.5x15 Extreme Trekkers that I know of and 3 out of 4 Jeeps of our Jeeps in the Java Jeep Team now run them , now seems to be standard fitting for extreme Flat Fenders in Indonesia.

My Mitsubishi Flat Fender will get 35" Extreme Trekkers when finished.

The JavaJeep Team hit the most challenging part of the course, a very deep washout that has claimed a few Rollzuki's , CJ7's and Landcruisers . Ultra short wheelbase [ but flexy , exclude Suzukis here ] vehicles such as Flatfenders , CJ5s and long wheelbase vehicles such as the larger Landrover Defenders can get through but it was pretty hairy !

As usual me and FrankenJeep were ' on point ' and sent in first by my fearless fellow team members :0

AdventureBabe hangs on to the harness ready for another roll over and then decides to bail out !

I decide to back up and try another angle. AdventureBabe can be seen running away in the background !
