Have been looking for some cable to connect up heavy duty power to the rear tow bar wiring for the new van and was shocked at what places like supercheap were charging.

Found hotwiring-oz store on ebay and was equally stunned, but for a good reason for a change.

Just picked up a wiring kit including 6 metres of both black and red 6B&S cable (140 amp cable), 2 anderson connectors, 50 amp resettable circuit breaker with rubber cover, 6 metres of split corrugated cover, terminals to suit battery and circuit breaker, some battery terminals and a bag of cable ties for $88 delivered. Couldn't have bought the cable for that price! In fact the two Anderson connectors would have been $88 from supercheap!

I second that hotwiring-oz is great. Value for money and quick to ship.

I might have to grab some more Anderson plugs now! Stuck the spare one on the air compressor - wow, so much more convenient to use from the rear just plugging it in rather than lifting the bonnet and clipping on battery clips! Since I cut the power lead for the compressor in half will grab another so I can reconnect it back to battery clips to use on other vehicles.

The difference between theory and practice is, in theory there is no difference...

I just ordered another 4 anderson plugs. At $20 delivered for 4 genuine ones compared to $44 each for Anderson 'style' plugs from Supercrap..
