They're heavy suckers and seeing how the stock roof mounts can thrash out with minimal weight and a light awning I wouldn't do it.
I've got a rear awning on the side, I use a side wall on it and it's enough, if I need more space I whack out the gazebo which sets up in less time. |
Maybe this will work? 27kg? Chief roof racks up the load to 120kg from memory.
