Well, a good hearted relative bought this for me. The Wii version.
I wasn't expecting too much from it- so the visuals were adequate and physics were OK. But the controls are simply ABYSMAL. You have to use the motion control for steering and it either doesn't react or over-reacts at every turn. I've played Mario Karts with the Wii controller and it was infinitely better than this crap. Even without another car around me I couldn't complete a lap without wiping out. And I consider myself a seasoned professional after wasting most of my late 20s on Gran Turismo and more recently Forza and PGR. There's no option of changing to control pad steering either- you're stuck with motion control. It looks like JB Hifi were the only guys that stocked the game and when I recently took it in to trade it back, the guy said they'd only sold one copy at retail ($59) - - which I suspect was my brother in law - - and that he'd give me $8 credit for it. I wish I wish I wish for a current-gen Jeep offroad game. This isn't it. It would be better suited to my iPhone. The phone would manage the graphics fine, and the accelerometer would probably make the steering manageable. |
Ha ha ha ha, you've just got to look at the cover......a JK, a GayJ/KK, and a.....WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???????

its $30 at k-mart.
im surprised you can't use the nunchuck instead of the steering wheel like you can in mario kart. total lol at the cover hey richo. it looks like a jeep mated with a smart car. |
that would be an oxymoron a smart jeep
