Hey rainman, thanks for replying, do you mean 5L engine? Those models came with a 5L, the gen3 was a 5.7, it came out on the series2 vt.

no I mean the VR, VS AND VT SERIES 1, 5.7L V8 that came in the HSV models, Senator (5.7 L 215i Model) >S.
Do not get to court up in the the car models to much, it is all about the part number cast into the side of the injector, that is what matters. Colour to a lesser extent, bright freakn orange in this case, will make it easier. they are on ebay. |

FYI The 5.7 litre V8 that HSV used back then was often referred to as the 'stroker engine'

pre ignition can be caused by incorrect plug gaps. I always check and adjust with feeler guages
