Does anyone know if the tilt column from an HQ or similar would fit the CJ? They look the same and both have column shift.

I use the Ryco Z30 on my 258/6 with no probs. Fits well. I also have the stromberg on the 74 CJ5
Don't know about anyone else, but I find Coventry's useless for parts. They get out the book and assure you it's the right one for the year model and I have to modify everytime. When I try to tell them it's wrong they give me the raised eyebrow with the "your female so what would you know, look". If only they knew I had spent more time under a CJ than at a sink. Is there a Ford,Chrysler etc ,interchangeable one that would do the job its a 10.5 " clutch . |
