Decent Mechanic Melbourne

Hi Guys, anyone know of a decent mechanic in the Camberwell/Mt Waverley area?

I need a transmission leak fixed and accessory belt replaced.

Thanks!

For transmission related Try Kewish Autos mate the best out there mate they will look after you. The best in business...

Engine serpentine belt is very Easy. All you need is a socket wrench on tensioner pulley. Google it and you will get a write .

No offense but you should give it a try to do belt changes etc yourself if you own a jeep and stuck in the midlde of nowhere.

Thanks JK07, I'll have a look into Kewish Autos.

I know what you mean and I'd love to do the maintenance myself but the wrangler's my daily drive and I work long hours so don't want to stuff it up and then pay someone else to fix it in a hurry. That said, I might just give it a shot in the christmas break! ;)

Kewish are inconvenient to get to if you have to leave a car there.

Glenmount in Ricketts Road Mt Waverley have worked on lots of jeeps recently, tell Kent I sent you. 9544 4000

They love Jeeps.

Update

Finally had time to do an update.

Ended up going to Glenmount Automotive on Ricketts Road Mount Waverley, (only reason I didn't go to Kewish was that Glenmount was a lot closer to where I live).

That said, Kent of Glenmount was great! He explained everything, got the job done and didn't charge me to fix a transmission leak that wasn't that leaky after all. Above and beyond what I was expecting.

Very impressed with Kent and his guys, definitely doing all future work with them. :D

He loves jeeps. Deep down, secretly, he really does.
