Permits, rangers planned to protect Redhead Beach dunes Stockton all over again?
Are we (NSW) about to loose out again? http://transform.fairfaxregional.com..._h678_fmax.jpg http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/...22/4166826.htm http://www.theherald.com.au/story/28...ermits/?cs=305 http://www.theherald.com.au/story/28...redhead-beach/ This is the quote that concerns me Quote:

A section of stockton beach dunes are the only place in NSW that it is legal with a RVA permit to use unregistered vehicles but apparently this is in danger of being stopped also

I meant to say on public lands in NSW

Lucky Big Red isn't in NSW's. It would be bollarded off, speed limits set & access fees charged

You have an election in NSW, make the most of it. Pollies will agree to doing all sorts of things at the moment.

The authorities seem to look for any excuse to close off/restrict access to tracks/beaches etc but ignore the fact that extreme weather events and abnormal high tides associated with these events do more damage to beach dunes etc than 4wd's but because that's nature it's not an issue for them.
