Its all part of the plan - once the lift goes in I'll be picking up some new rubber. If good flex + tyres wont get me up it, im probably not driving on a legal track (in Sydney at least...) |
Hmmmmm, nice limited97.

Not an action shot, but when it gets used I'm usually driving & also drive the camera too. Will have to rethink that one.....

The lights were only for the trip - too vulnerable and cop-enticing up there full time. I cut a length of 30mm angle bar to fit between the roof rail front mounting points, drilled some holes in it and gave it a small arch then fitted it to the original front roof rail mounting points and used a home made loom to wire it in.
the lights are Cibie oscars with 130w bulbs. It takes a little to stabilise vibration and the setup is low at rest but perfect at 100kph. (the bar moves a touch) Gave 1000m of vision plenty of roos to see but hit none. |
