I have spoken to a turbo specialist and he recommended that I remove the DPF. Has anyone done this before? Would this cause any problems with the engine as I know that it requires some back pressure? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk |

It has a catalytic converter on the back of the turbo only, no dpf.

Im in South Africa. While doing research into all the issues I have experienced I came across a few references that called it a DPF and not a CAT, but I could be wrong. Would a blocked CAT cause the issues with the wastegate?

@Jeephawk, you should delete the DPF asap.
(its a Deposit Particle Filter, and not a Catalytic Converter). Tends to clog and create several issues. Another thing is that it keeps the exhaust temps very high. Deleting it, turbo, exhaust valves etc, are much more happier and cooler. |
