It was first time ever doing something like this, and it took me 4 days to do. I had a bit of help, Vinnie (VIN18U) come over and give me a hand with it for 1 day on the weekend and Steve F gave me some advice on a few things over email too.

There are two hole you need to drill (7/8" and 1/2"), other than that its all bolt on, and most of the original parts and bolts are re-used. I've got about 3 bolts, the front swaybar links, original shocks, springs and draglink left over from it.

This kit has only just been released (mine was the first one JeepKonnection sold), and although it is a RHD kit, there was no RHD instructions for it, so I had to make do with the LHD instructions and reverse some of them. Allan at Procomp/JeepKonnection had already installed one and gave me some help over the phone in some parts.

It drives great, even when the wheel alignment was way out and I was driving it up to the tyre shop I could feel the difference the new shocks (Bilstein) and springs made :)

Yeah the instructions i read look pretty straight forward but were for the lhd version. They hopefully will have the rhd instructions ready by the time i'm ready to go. The 35's look good too only drama for me is the legalities of it all living up here in banana bender land.

As the extras tend to blend into the veh colour, you appear to have managed that middle ground of functionality and looks. :cool:

Might assist in not attracting so much attention from those who hand out tickets too ... and thats always a good thing. ;)

One more photo would have been good ...... testing the flex on that ginger coloured road bump. ;)

I haven't wheeled it yet, but I was happy with the quality of the kit and what came with it - it also included a jack base (so you can use the stock jack with bigger tyres) and a Pro-Cal programmer (http://www.aev-conversions.com/products/procal_module/) to adjust the computer for a bunch of things such as larger tyres, new ratios, you can even use it to adjust the engine idle speed (but only when the vehicle is stationary eg: for winching)

Well done, Casey.It looks really good and well thought out.:D With the Warn rear bar, have you fitted the towbar underneath it:?: :?: I had the Warn rear bar on my TJ and used the tow point in that when towing (which was only once or twice).Is it a difficult job to refit the towbar after fitting the bar:?:

I can't wait to see this suspension kit in action as AEV make only the best.:D

yep, thats the stock tow bar under it (with a licence plate holder in the receiver) you can leave it in place and just lift the warn bar over the tow bar and then bolt the bar in place.
