moderators have to approve posts?

must be something new with ausjeep to slow things down

posted a reply to a tech post this morning after researching thru a FSM manual and other resources to make sure I have got my facts right and when submitted get a message along the lines about will be posted when moderators approve?

whats the point of that except to slow things down and take out the incentive to post

Maybe a glitch in the system. I cant see all posts being reviewed by mods, it would drive them insane!! Rest assured they do have a life away from the forum.

I'm a moderator on the KJ Forum and have had a couple of complaints from KJ people who received the same notification. Rest assured that JimmyB has not told the Moderators (well at least this one) that the rules or rolls have changed. I suspect its a temporary problem with the profile/setup of some sections of AJOR, and I have referred it to JimmyB.

I'm having a similar problem trying to post something for sale in the Accessories and Parts section. It's been 24 hours since I submitted it and I've tried twice with no luck (also PM'd a couple of moderators but no response yet). What a pain in the arse...

:(

We have had an increase in the number of spammers setting up new accounts and posting advertisments for all sorts of rubbish lately - maybe this is sposed to be only on accounts with less than 10 posts or something. I am sure Jimmy will chip in shortly and let us know!

Just discovered I can't post in the XJ section either but I can post here.
