<p align="justify"><img src="http://o.aolcdn.com/os/autoblog/Make_Images/jeep-logo-opt.jpg" alt="Jeep Trailduster" width="200" height="140" hspace="10" border="0" align="left"/><strong>The fine folks over at allpar are reporting that the Jeep nameplate might have a new entry-level vehicle in 2013 now that the Compass is on its way out.</strong>

Coming in as Jeep’s entry level model and somewhat replacing the Compass, is a Fiat Panda derived Jeep. Built in Toluca along the the Fiat 500, the Trailduster is more than just another all wheel drive econo-box.

It's just speculative artists' renderings but like to see something at that size have M38 styling. Do a complete departure from the Panda look, don't just slap a 7-slot grille on it. Some flat fenders and an open top would be a nice touch (sometimes I think all Jeeps should have removable top variants) but they're not as aerodynamic as those ergonomically shaped ladyhatchbacks they build nowadays…
