Lotus 7 replica I have had my Lotus 7 S3 in pieces for the last 3 months while she got a paint job after Crown Relocations damaged her on the move from NZ, I finally got her back together on Thursday and got out for a drive on Sunday out around the Hinterland at the back of Brisbane (Mt Glorious, Somerset Dam, Kilkoy, Woodford, Mt Mee)
The guys who painter Grace did a great job and also did the underside of the guards with rubberised ute liner to stop stone chips. Some pics of it sitting in my workshop http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps636edcea.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...psf3dbd472.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps3b2c5878.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...psec39738d.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...psfee82d07.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps841e62c7.jpg |

Thanks for the comments guys I love owning different types of cars that make me feel alive when I drive. |
Oh wow. My best friend's dad used to race a Caterham seven (based on the S3) in the UK - he had the Cosworth engine. I lusted, and still do, after that car but never got to drive it for very valid reasons!
Yours looks utterly stunning in the bare metal. Great job! I'll keep an eye out for you around Brisbane and wave if I see you! |
