hi
where to get one?
i went to few shops, no luck.
i bought dayco brand DT32A but that doesnt fit.
i didn't try jeep yet i guess it's going to be pricey

they are about $70 from jeep, I never managed to find one at an auto store to suit the Dayco DT32A is too high to fit in the housing.

$70 at jeep that's cheap i paid 71 at repco for dayco which didn't fit

When I got my jeep it didnt have a thermostat. ~ some idiot had removed it thinking it would make it run cooler & it didnt.
I had a thermostat out of a 300D mercedes, it fitted perfect & is still in it.
Have a look on mercedes parts sites, you can probably get one for less than $70.

Wow 70 that's really steep.. Perhaps bursons or r.e automotive they sometimes are able to provide me with parts when repco fails. Definitely take it back in I've had them hand me the wrong parts many times. I got given a water pump for a petrol xj and the guy refused to have a bar of it...I actually had to bring the broken one in (and nearly smash it in his face) for him to relalise. Also taking it back in (If you have the origional) they might be able to match something up for you. 9/10 the parts for an xj show up the same in another..the k&n for a diesel is actually the same as a ford laser IMO

i returned it to repco next day without problems.
went to jeep and orderd one today $75. will be in tomorrow. i was expecting to pay $200 or more. i was wrong.
