Wj 4.7 tps issue? Hey peoples, after disconnecting my battery to do some work on my grand it has developed an issue where driving you will have no power, it just stutters and hesitates, floor it and it takes off like a scalded cat, I checked the voltage at the tps and at idle it reads around 640mv, out of gear the voltage continues to increase up to 3.8v, drop it into drive and accelerate and the reading drops back to zero?
Can anyone help me with this? , it's getting to the stage where I spend every weekend chasing gremlins and it's getting annoying real fast Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
TPS should gradually increase from about 0.7v to 5v at wot.
Test it with ign. on but engine not running. If it drops or jumps up suddenly its toast. Sounds odd that it would suddenly happen after the work done, there is a vacuum chamber on the drivers side underneath the headlight, is it possible youve dislodged the vac hose going to it. |
Wj 4.7 tps issue? I'll check the vac chamber thanks

Disconnect the battery again, see if that helps.
