Diesel coolant Hi all, I am about to change the engine coolant which is coloured red. The manual states engine coolant should be HOAT. All the HOAT I find online has the colour green. OAT has the colour of red.
So at present thought I am going to use the colour red OAT. |
Diesel coolant Use a quality concentrate coolant like Nulon and you can't go wrong. Just make sure you completely flush the old stuff out of the system.

It states HOAT The colour is only a dye used. You can buy valvoline G-05 for most autoshops which is a HOAT coolant. Older bottles of G-05 were dyed red

Thanks for the replies.
I will be definitely sticking to HOAT coolant. |
