Poison spyder diff covers
 

Hi there. New to the thread, and jeeps, so I hope I'm posting this correctly.

I have a 2004 tj wrangler and I would like to know if poison spyder diff covers fit.
I have the a 3 inch lift, rustys hd steering kit and Wooders track bars to fit in the next few weeks. And I was going to get the diff covers to put on while the axle is out and getting regeared and tube sleeves fitted.

Yes poison spyder make a d30 and d44 diff cover to suit the TJ axles, assuming you have the stock axles.

Yeah, I have the stock axles. Have just been told that the larger diff covers can hit on track bars or tie rod.

I haven't had any issues with my teraflex front or rock crusher rear and they both appear do be bigger than the poison spyder ones. that could just be an illusion due to the flat curve on the poison spyder ones though.

Something to remember is that if you ever plan on getting a bolt on triangulated rear suspension set-up such as full traction the poison spyder and some other covers will need to be changed as the bolts are recessed in the face of the cover

Thanks for the advice. I do like the poison spider covers, but they seem to limit a few add ons.

I'm running the Full Traction triangulated upper rears with an ARB cover. I made a new retaining plate that fits between the diff housing & the cover like a thick shim. No rear track bar required with this setup.

I was considering the full traction short arm tri link. But I had just bought 3 inch springs. And full traction don't recommend a tri link if your lift is under 4 inch.

How do to find the tri link? Big improvement?
