Work shop for ls swap? So the 3.8 is struggling pulling our new jayco and struggling Allround. Was thinking the sprintex blower but have heard a few problems and want a reliable power fix. Was thinking of selling and getting a 2.8 or a 3.6 but have built my Jk so much that I'd lose prob 15k selling and upgrading to a standard 2.8 or 3.6 then have to drop another 10k or so on susp, tyres, axles the works... So there's around 25k to upgrade or do a ls swap for around 15 - 20k..
What's everyone's thoughts and if they know a work shop around se Qld that could help me out dropping in a ls using the motec kit.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
You could try Stuart Murchison

What engine r u looking at? I would b happy with an l98 with a 6l60 but an ls3 with a 6l80 would be amazing... |

Have you thought of stripping this jeep and move parts over to a crd?
it will hack towing much better esp if you get the newer transmission with tiptronic. Alot of money in those v8 conversions (& potential problems) will be way cool though May be ott for what you want it for (towing) You have to weigh up what the greater loss will be... |
people in australia can actually put 6 litre chev motors into jks??
I am starting to get somewhat excited Where and how much $$$???? |
Ill give merch a call.. Mis my v8s,
