How to carry spare 37s on n off the roof

What's the best way other than breaking your back using ropes and pulleys to pull it up? The bloody thing weighs about 60 kgs!

Drop down tyre carrier.

Park under a tree and use winch?

Get a mate to assist with the lifting?

Actually WTF would you want to put a 37" on the roof anyway - great way to stuff up your COG.

That'll be neat for the rear. How about the roof rack?

yeah, thought of that but I have no trees with big enough branch near the house or when out in the desert.

Trying to do without one for the desert if stuck on our own.

I do carry one but what if I tear the sidewall off? It actually happened to a mate going from Alice to Perth. He blew 2x 35s on his Cruiser. No NRMA out on the trails. They wouldn't even come out to the start Wheeny Creek trail. Blacktop only so it seems. The best help out there is Emergency Help on AJOR and Aussie 4WD Rescue on FB.

The same reason why we go Jeepin'. ;). Second spare.

I'll probably use the front winch, slip it over the bumper rails put a roller at the front of the roof rack and do it that way. A light crane or some sort of jib would be nice.
