Hi All,

My name is Glenn. I have just bought myself the 2009 Wrangler Unlimited CRD.

My plans are to slowly kit it up with a few essentials and then some more less essentials; followed by more ;)

Here to get some ideas, find out where to look and have some fun along the way. Small steps for now.

Feel free to come say hello and look forward to reading your posts.

Cheers,

I see you mentioned Bribie in your other thread, I'm from Eumundi originally (left for Fremantle in '89) and went up the beach on Bribie once or twice. I thought that would have been gentrified and blocked to vehicles by now

No mate, they still give access for 4wd. All you need is the pass which costs around $120 per yr.

Each individual beach has its own permit.... Bribie, Noosa north Shore and Fraser are all separate. It sucks... (I live at Tewantin)

Last weekends 2 night stay on Noosa North Shore was $58, $27 for a week vehicle pass ans $11 a night to camp.

In Queensland in general ther is no freebees when it comes to off roading on beaches Gazz. Even Double Island Point you need permits. Each beach is a different permit, not one for all.

Freebees to drive anywhere in Qld is so limited compared with what it was even 10 years ago. Thankfully we have 4x4 parks eh.
