MOPAR Rock Rails Hey Guys. Finally took the WK on a decent offroad trail. Performed pretty well and in fairness, I really need to learn how to drive it properly (I am used to Flex Machines like JK's and Patrols which just flex their way through anything).
Anyway, the underbody took a few hits on the rocky track and this happened to the MOPAR Rock Rail mounts. Needless to say, I am wondering on the strength of these. Any other experiences would be great to know. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01...6b2fd03957.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree with Snakedoctor. Look like side steps. Mopar rock rails replace the plastic sill. Side steps aren't made for protection.

Yeah, here is a pic of his WK2, looks like side steps not rock rails

To elaborate, they are the same side steps that people break off road on a regular basis, I'd recommend removing them.

Yep, the mopar rock rails look like this:

After seeing some more install pics of the Uneek units they have grown on me, I wouldn't pay the 2k + fitting they are asking for the Mopar sliders now.
