Just put the gearbox back in with the new torque converter now I tead somewhere that you dont need to do the quick learn procedure wuth the 42RLE so i haven't. Problems i only seem to have 1 forward gear and I have had codes P0731 and P0720. Only Mopar ATF+4 went into the box and I followed the fill procedure set out in the service manual.What could be the problem

Did you line up the notches on the pump shaft so that it engaged when you installed it?

what about the filters ? , what about solenoid/s stuck what about was it run long enough for all the air to come out of the system ? was the torque converter same size input for the auto ? are you sure that it needed a torque converter , and not a pump ?

Box was working fine before. Tc was changed due to a shudder. Tc is a factory reco that was dry fitted before final install and fitted fine.Of course the pump may have issues but none that were apparent.
