What Grand Cherokee? I've never owned a Jeep, but am looking to get a 2005/6 GC 6cyl diesel.
My reasons are 1. The merc motor 2. The QDII drive system I want an up-spec model, but I am having difficulty working out the difference between a Limited, Limited Navigator and 75th Anniversary model. Can anyone explain the difference between these variants? Also, any glitches to look for when buying one? |
Navigator was a limited issue of the Limited/Laredo (pun on pun)
included sat nav, side steps, nudge bar, roof rack, tow bar and weather protector for an extra $4500. The 65th anivarsary edition had: " Power sunroof Monochromatic exterior appearance with body colour door handles and rear license plate brow Bright chrome bodyside moldings and tow hooks Fog lamps Cargo net Unique 17-inch Ronin aluminum wheels with gray accents Unique cloth seats with embroidered Jeep 65 logo Unique interior bezels Unique floormats with Jeep 65 logo Unique center console accents AM/FM 6-CD/MP3 radio Unique Jeep 65th Anniversary badge" so both are special editions of a Limited, one with Navigation Pack and useable touring extras, the other (65th) more dress ups. Personally Id be looking for a Navigator :) I like these rigs and am on the lookout for a good one down here. |

What the limited got over the Lerado duel climate control on dash tyre pressure reading shiny wheels chrome side trim & grille chrome accent on dash gauges fake wood look trim rear seat centre arm rest Heated leather seats Leather steering wheel fog lights Boston Acoustic amplified 6 Disk stereo Power drivers seat with auto memory setting Rain sense wipers & probably other useless crap Navigator Pack floor mats dicky non updatable GPS stuck to the top of the dash side steps steel factory bash plates tow bar roof rail cross bars slimline window wind deflectors & headlight covers Mine is a Limited Nav pak & didn't have a nudge bar (factory tow point still in place so it was never fitted) Glitch's!!!........... Its a Jeep  make sure low range works (recall about this) bushings on front diff wear out & as a result the front tail shaft CV fails due to incorrect pinion angle. Hold your foot on the brake & move the shifter between D & R & listen for a thud (diff movement). |
