2 Door dual battery setup

Looking to get a dual battery in my 2 door JK.

I know I can get the Genesis system but wanted to see what others had done and hopefully get some ideas for a custom setup. The main problem in the 2 door is where to put the 2nd battery so keep to see what others have done.

Hey mate,
The best idea I've seen, other then another tray in the engine bay, is to put it above the rear wheels on that unused space. There are a couple company's and people (might be able to find em on the facebook groups) that will make up brackets for the battery up there. I got a 4 door and its what I am planning, got my battery in the back just need to mount it up on the wheel arch now. either that or you can buy the storage tub upgrade and pop it in there as well

I haven’t been able to find a wheel arch mount for a 2 door so my plan is to fit a slim line AGM into the existing under floor storage.

Something like this should come close to fitting. Next time I am visiting a city I will try a few for size and update post

You can not fit the brackets over the wheels in 2 doors..

Not for a 2 door

You can fit a 105 Ah Remco under each front seat. It's dead space already so you loose nothing. Here's what I did 8 years ago apparently, still going strong.
