Not secure

Hi all just giving you the heads up,When Im on AJOR website, I,m being alerted that it is NOT a SECURE SITE and its alerting me not to enter any sensitive information as it could be stolen by attackers

Maybe Moderators or Management could look into this, cheers all

Just Googled it and this is what came up;

The reason you are seeing the “Not Secure” warning is because the web page or website you are visiting is not providing a secure connection. When your Chrome browser connects to a website it can either use the HTTP (insecure) or HTTPS (secure). Any page providing an HTTP connection will cause the “Not Secure” warning.

Yeah my devices come up with this too.

This website run on old http protocol.
The level of protection of this protocol is low. You don't have to worry about anything until you've entered your billing information and submit it.

I would be more concerned about using Chrome.
Its fair to say that over time there has been updates to systems.
HTTP has been used for a long time & works well.
HTTPS is the new kid on the block & claims to have all the bells & whistles.
I would be more concerned with sites like FaceBook & other social media sites.
By avoiding having any personal information on any but the most secure sites is good practice.
I get many spam emails every week claiming to be from banks & similar. If you reply you are asking for trouble & a similar number of phone calls from nbn(?), solar panel people, ATO(?) & others. They become stress relief, how much abuse can they withstand before they hang up on me!

I like to play along and ask "Oh no! What should I do now?" They usually hang up.
