1991 Mahindra CJ340 resto
 

Back in 1990 I bought a new Mahindra CJ340 which I kept for 5 years.

A couple of years ago I picked up another for a resto job which is almost completed.

Mahindra soiled their ‘copy book’ back in the late nineties, when they failed to provide support for their Ute imports.
Most of them cracked their heads and they couldn’t be repaired and mahindra didn’t supply any replacement cylinder heads. Most cars with low mileages ended up abandoned in dealer yards and on farms written off because there were no spares.
