Today I'm selling my extremely well maintained Jeep. Some may say over maintained, this is probably why it runs so well.

Extras I have fitted to my truck?

For Towing/4WDing:

- King Spring lift with Bilstien shocks

- AirBag helpers at rear

- RedArc Elite pro V3 brake controller

- 50amp Anderson plug at rear

- Jeep Spec Tow bar

- Second battery under passenger seat incl DC/DC charger and relay

- Tyres - Nitto Terra Grappler AT with 40% left - awesome tyres

For Protection and Safety:

- Uneek Bullbar with integrated driving lights

- Uneek Rock Sliders

- Uneek Bash Plate

- 12,500 lb Winch with Dyneema rope

- Huge LED Spotlights

Maintenance:

- Water pump, hoses, tensioner, pulleys and serpentine belt replaced 5000 ks ago

- Oil replaced every 7,500 ks, has EZdrain fitted to facilitate quick oil change

- All fluids replaced 12,000 ks ago incl transmission filter housing

- Owner is a technician hence the extra maintenance

So you might wander whether the mileage has been hard. We only recently bought an offroad camper, so I set the Jeep up as a tow vehicle. Unfortunately the camper weight is over the Jeeps legal capacity 3200kg, 3.6l V6 towing limit is a shy over 2900kgs. My mistake, your gain.

Most of the driving is highway ks (no towing) We have family in Perth so have travelled there quite a few times.

Is she reliable? Ohh yeah. No ticking, no overheating. Only 2 issues. front wheel bearings making a noise, replaced under warranty and one of the dual horns died, leaving and embarrassing squeal, also fixed under warranty.

We have bought another Jeep, this time a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Diesel. Purely to tow our camper. We wouldn't buy another Jeep if we didn't think it will be unreliable.

What we liked:

- The leather seats, still in great nick

- The economy, still getting 12l/100ks, when highway driving we are getting in the 10 to 11's

- Heated AND Ventilated seats, even the rear seats are heated

- Awesome Alpine Stereo

- Reliability

Any Issues:

- The front parking sensors don't like the wet

- AC Compressor is a little noisy

- Front Passenger inner guard is damaged, however I have a replacement you can have

Everything works - Electric seats, parking sensors ( in fine weather ;-), winch, spotties, keyless entry, all speakers, did I say that the stereo is AWESOME.

It's got both keys and has been look after really well. Yes we went 4WDing in it, but no beach work at all.

I just hope our new Jeep is as reliable as this. The interior is in great condition. I clean and conditioned the leather monthly and you can tell by the feel.
