Factory cd player Hi all,
I have a question re the cd player in our 2014 Overland, this unit takes up half of the already small centre console bin, my question is can it be removed without causing issues with the stereo and can a bin out of a different trim level be fitted to give more space and if so what trim/year model can I use and can the cd player be reconnected again at a later date without issue? TIA... |
I think it possible they may all have had a CD player in the centre console...the 2014 Laredo of mine did, as does this 2015 Laredo...both poverty packs...
|
I have thought of that but removing centre consol's is such a pain I just ignore it... only more junk.... but interested in replies just the same.

I was just watching a video on youtube
and at 12:02 the centre console bin appears to not have a cd player... |
That looks like it may even be a very basic 4x2 5 spd model as it seems to have a different looking positive type shifter, as well there appears to be no dial to select 4wd modes in the centre console.
It might be that all the export models had the CD player option?...dunno for sure though... |
Could be right as an Export Model our Laredo is more optioned up and inline with the US Limited versions..... nothing in detail about radio version in my build sheet either...
|
I wonder if the 4x2 versions here have them or not?
