Any insights or suggestions? I recently purchased a 2013 Grand Cherokee, but I've noticed a noticeable hum when driving. I've been unable to pinpoint the source of the sound and was wondering if it could be related to the tires. The current tires on the vehicle are not the original ones. Since this is my first 4x4 experience, I'm unsure about the cause of the humming noise. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does the humming sound change pitch when driving on different sealed road surfaces? If it does then it is likely tyres...if not then the source could be elsewhere which would be more difficult to diagnose |
Could it be an A/C compressor on the way out? Some mechanics use a stethoscope to find the source of the whining.
