Beach drives in Vic?
 

Going fo a drive in the beach is somthing I'v allways wanted to do any one know any places in Vic you can do it ? one we can do in a day trip from Melbourne?

As far as I know it is illegal to drive on beaches in Vic but you can organise with the Portland dune buggy club and gain access to their rather large sand hills for a play other wise cross into SA and drive on their beaches.

Also have a word to zzzz, I remember he was talking a while back about a trip to Portland, not sure if he ever went in the end, but he might be able to fill you in.

If you guys are interested and want to come then I am taking an exploration trip over to Beachport on Melbourne cup weekend (Sat, Sun,Mon & Tuesday
Leave Sat Morning for Robe and home Tuesday
is about a 6 hour trip each way but the driving once there is great
and you are welcome to join us Camping at Beachport
