ZJ Recovery points Has anyone got any advice for proper front ( and rear) recovery points on the ZJ.
I have what I think is the standard 5mm steel plate protruding through the plastic bumber. I have had conflicting reports as to the viability of this as an achor. I have tried to fit the chrome hook, but the holes do not align. I have been snatched of it several times with a 'D' shackle, but I don't wan't to see it flying towards my recoverer one day. For the rear I use a sqr tubing with the chrome hook bolted on it in the tow bar hitch. Any advice appreciated -thanks |

ZJ Recovery points Yes - did the course last year. Re S.M - he has been hanging around me too long - not prepared to give an opinion for legal liability reasons!

ZJ Recovery points I've used the tow bar to recover and thats been for Cruisers and Patrols, can't help you up front 'cause to fitted an ARB bull bar and that got the eyelets to shackel to.Get a Bar makes the ZJ look good and don't forget the spotties.
