So does this mean for people who are not club member at Jambo they must become temp members and do the training course before they can go on a Jambo event trip?

Just clearing it up becuase IT will be asked!!!

Lexx

From an insurance perspective the straight answer is you have to be a member of a 4 wheel drive club. However, since the Jambo is NOT an event for the public and does NOT have any timed events and all events are supervised, you do not have to be a member of a 4 wheel drive club. Further, by registering for the Jamboree, you automatically become a temp member for the duration of the jamboree. You do NOT have to pay anything extra.

It is an MJOC requirement, however, from a participation (on club organised trips) point of view and smooth operation of a trip that participants do some accreditted training. This we think is common courtesy to benefit all participants on a trip.

I hope that answers your question.
