Hell, we WRECKED a '70 454 SS Chevelle one night drag racing a 429 Talledega. And now a cowl inducted 454 Chevelle for a million!?!?!? And I sold my two Darts before I moved here with one of those a 340...!
But it looks like it's the big block cars demanding this type of money.

I bought my Bathurst E38 charger for $3000 in 1987.
just over 10years later i sold it for $16000.
Now there going for 30+
But regardless of type of car it is the ones that are in perfect condition that command top dollar. Not show room perfect but as good as they can get without being showroom perfect. No two pac tailshafts and diffs and all that crap.
A top paint job with all the original trim intact and an engine that screams.......And all that from the factory.

Exactly EJ, those guys that go overboard restoring cars with new interiors, everything bling underneath etc, are actually depreciating the value. Make them showroom, ie how they came out, and thats where the money is.
