your camp setup
 

just wondering what type of camp setup everyone runs as im in the middle of changing mine, i was using a trailer with tent up top sometimes or a big 2 room tent and 7x9 metre tarp, but im over setting up tents and blowing up matresses, so im thinkin a swag anyone use em for long trips what else do you all use.....pics????

i've been known to just roll out the sleeping bag next to the jeep, does that count :p

really depends on how long i am going for, and how many people are with me, as i have a varity of tents for such occasions

roll the sleeping bag out was the only option i was left with last night as my air bed had a hole, i just put a tarp over half the jeep and sleep under that on overnighters but im thinkin a swag will be better and just put a tarp up if its raining

If the whole family is coming we take our 8 person dome, if it's just a quick stop or 2 of use we take the 4 person dome. Otherwise if on my own i take a stretcher and put it under the tarp. I find stretchers quite comfortable and i like being up off the ground. I have a smaller 12x12 tarp for quick trips and a 16x20 for longer trips.

I've slept under the car - the trick is to not sit up suddenly. At least it kept the drizzle off me.

Here's my camp setup, it's an Ultima Swag which is more like a mozzie proof tent with a canvas over the top. Great for short trips, not so great if you have 'company' ;).
