'THE HORNET'?? I thought it was the canary :D The sooner it is back on the road for our summer trips the better. Get into it mate.

I hope you will post the progress pics on the installation of the snorkel you got for it for your birthday as well. They might be interesting :D

The Windsor is very similar in features around the timing cover and fron of the engine to the AMC V8.
Its good to see the pics and story unfold. Keep us posted have you torn it down yet?

Yes Danny ,I was going to post some pics but with such an intricate design and excellent looks ,I do not want to unveil it before the engine is ready because i reckon it will be copied and installed on other CJs before mine .
I think that once exposed there will be heaps of requests for US to start supplying them everywhere so atm I will keep it under my hat ,ok ;) ;)

Hey Toyrox ,The engine is about 80% stripped and i will finish the dismantling of it this weekend as it goes to the machine shop next week to be inspected ,measured, honed and the heads reco-ed .
I will try to post some pics over the weekend of it as it is now, and possibly some of the engine bay clean up .(see how time goes ,got a TJO trip on sunday and just found a water leak in my XJ tonight:wall: :wall: :wall:)
Nice to see people are interested in the buildup
Cheers

Yep, once word gets out and the patented design is seen by a few, the good folk who own a CJ6 will be clamouring for a snorkel of their own. We can then give up our day jobs and embark on the first step to WORLD DOMINATION hahahahahahahahahahaha (<-------- evil laugh)
