MUD Drag race 22nd March.... WA
 

Northam Motor Sports is happy to invite you to the first mud hole drag race meeting which will be held on Saturday 22nd March 08’. This event will be open to anyone that wishes to nominate by the 14th of March 08’.
The Mud drag strip is about 150mtr long of wet clay mud and will be a challenge to anyone that thinks he or she can do it. Vehicles will be put into classes and will be given trophies and cash prizes on the night to 1st 2nd and 3rd. Entries / Nominations are open on the 11th of February and Close on the 14th of March. To Nominate go to www.stadiumracing.com after the 11th Feb and lodge your details.
Cost of entry is $20 per head plus $50 to Nominate your Vehicle. Spectators are $20 as well, This also includes your entry as a spectator to the Stadium Racing Gold Cup Summer Series final. Which will be held on the same night.
Gates will open on the day at 1.30pm and the Mud Drags will start at 3pm. Stadium Racing will start at 6pm and will have a break for the finals of the Mug drags before the last heats of the night, with a finishing time of about 11pm.


Video footage of the first round will be used in the TV advertising along with the Stadium racing for the winter series which will be held once a month over winter.

I'm not sure on the classes at this stage and thats not up to me :(

But what I can tell you is that its open to everyone that has a helmet and entry fee.

I will give you more info as it comes to me.... I plan on taking photos of the hole tomorrow... I'll post them here

SO if someone in a Turbo Diesel 2.5lt XJ with a 2'' lift rolls up there not going to be up against a custom built 2000hp mud drag car on 42's ?? :p

There will be classes at least 3. once entries come in Classes will be worked out on those vehicles. This is an event that will run all though the winter and will be made to keep people of all walks coming back. Don't worry I'll be happy to put my stickers on your car so I get my name on telly and in the papers, who cares if its a diesel.....lol
